Every orchestra should have something truly special for its season finale, and here we are pulling out all the stops. Mahler’s “Resurrection” is simply one of the greatest symphonies ever written, with its glorious inclusion of a chorus and soloists reminiscent of Beethoven’s monumental 9th Symphony. Both the music and the text will take you to special places of exultation and exaltation, as the Chicago Master Singers triumphantly add their voices to the glorious sounds of our symphony musicians.
